CHURCHILL - Land of the Polar Bear

In November 2014 I went on a photographic trip to Churchill with Natural Habitat Adventures. All I had to do, was organise my flight to Winnipeg & they arranged everything else.

On my arrival at the airport, I was collected & taken to the Fort Garry Hotel, where I met the other travellers & the two leaders. The next day we flew to Churchill & boarded a Polar Rover out to the Tundra Lodge which was going to be our home for the next four nights.

Each day we would go out on the Polar Rovers in search of Polar Bears, Arctic Foxes, Willow Ptarmigan & Arctic Hares. Perhaps, if we were lucky, we might even get to photograph the Aurora Borealis.

This talk is only 40mins and can be combined with either Northern Norway or Belarus for a longer show.
