THE FALKLAND ISLANDS

Share the delights of twelve days in wildlife heaven.

Magellanic, Gentoo, Rockhopper & King Penguins, Giant Petrel, Upland Geese, Striated Caracara (known locally as Johnny Rook – if you leave anything lying around they will try to drag it away – even your binoculars or camera), King Cormorant, Black-browed Albatross etc.

Moulting Southern Elephant Seals close enough to touch, even South American Sea Lions if you are feeling brave enough. The list in this remote part of the UK just goes on. To sit & wait for the wildlife to walk up to you, is a new & totally different experience. One not to be missed.

The internal flights, by Islander aircraft built on the Isle of Wight, from island to island, land & take off on small grass areas. They often fly quite low to the ground, giving excellent views & photographic opportunities as you pass over the different areas.
